Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive body contouring technique that uses controlled cooling to selectively reduce localized fat deposits.
The principle behind the treatment is the crystallization of fat cells (adipocytes): by exposing the tissue to low temperatures, the fat cells are destroyed without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues.

During a cryolipolysis session, a handpiece is applied to the area to be treated, cooling it to a controlled temperature for a predetermined time (generally between 30 and 60 minutes).
In the days and weeks following, the body naturally eliminates the damaged fat cells through normal metabolic processes.

Cryolipolysis is indicated for:

Reducing localized fat on the abdomen, hips, inner and outer thighs, arms, back, and under the chin.

Reshaping body contours without surgery.

Treating areas resistant to diet and exercise.

The treatment is safe, well-tolerated, and requires no recovery time: patients can immediately return to daily activities.
Improvements begin to be seen after 3–4 weeks, with final results after about 2–3 months.

Cryolipolysis : frequently asked questions

Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical device that applies precisely controlled cooling to an area of the skin to target subcutaneous fat cells. The treated fat cells are frozen, undergo a process of apoptosis, and are then eliminated by the body. The result? A more defined body. Cryolipolysis is not a treatment for obesity. The system should only be used on areas of the body where the subcutaneous fat layer is thicker than 1 cm.

The treatment is generally well tolerated. During the initial phase, you may feel an intense cold or pulling sensation on the skin, which tends to decrease after a few minutes. Any discomfort is mild and temporary.

In many cases, one session per area may be enough to achieve visible results. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after about 6–8 weeks to optimize the effect.

Improvements start to appear after about 3–4 weeks. The final result stabilizes within 2–3 months of the treatment, as the body naturally eliminates the fat cells.
