Is it painful?

There may be slight discomfort during application due to the injectable nature of this treatment. We apply a numbing cream to help with pain management if necessary.

Are there side effects?

Fat-dissolving injections trigger an inflammatory reaction, so you may experience some swelling for up to 5 days after treatment. This is usually mild and can be managed with cold packs. Other side effects: You may notice temporary redness or itching, which is normal and should subside within a few days.

What results can I expect?

You should wait about 2–3 weeks before starting to see a reduction in fat deposits. For larger areas, effects may start after 2–3 weeks, but it may take up to 8 weeks for the final result to be visible.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically 1–3 treatments are required to achieve the desired result, but this will be discussed during the pre-treatment consultation along with your expectations. This treatment has a high patient satisfaction rate.
