Antalgic mesotherapy is a medical technique used to treat muscle-joint pain and localized inflammation. It involves intradermal microinjections of anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant, or analgesic drugs in small doses directly into the affected area.
It is particularly suitable for:
Neck pain, lower back pain, and sciatica
Tendinitis and bursitis
Localized osteoarthritis (knees, shoulders, hips)
Muscle contractures
Post-traumatic or post-surgical pain
The active substance is injected into the mesoderm, the intermediate layer of the skin, allowing for a targeted action with fewer side effects compared to systemic administration (oral or intravenous).
15–20 minutes
same day
recommended 6–10 sessions
none
The injections are very superficial and only cause mild discomfort. Anesthesia is not necessary.
Many patients notice improvement after just 2–3 sessions, but the greatest benefit is reached at the end of the treatment cycle.
Side effects are rare and mild: slight redness or swelling may appear in the treated area, which usually disappears within a few hours.
